Genshin Impact: Best Team Compositions for Mavuika

Mavuika is the Pyro Archon and one of the strongest characters in Genshin Impact, both for overworld farming as well as endgame content such as Spiral Abyss and Imaginarium Theatre. She is also quite free-to-play friendly and is a good character to pull for both new players and veterans.

However, being a frontline DPS, you want to run her alongside supports who will buff her damage. Here’s a detailed guide on the best team compositions for Mavuika in Genshin Impact.

Mavuika Premium Team in Genshin Impact

Furina is a key member of Mavuika's premium team.
    CharacterRole
    MavuikaDPS
    XilonenDe-buffer
    Citlali/FurinaEnabler
    BennettHealer

In this team, Mavuika is the main DPS who will rely on picking up Ultimate charges and dealing as much damage as possible with it. Additionally, she can use her elemental skill to deal sustained damage for a while before switching out. However, this team is heavily enhanced through support.

Xilonen is the primary debuffer in this team, where she can reduce enemy resistances and also heal allies. Citlali enables the melt reaction through her Cryo attacks, and she also reduces the Pyro and Hydro RES of enemies, which further adds up alongside Xilonen’s debuffs.

Finally, Bennett is the primary healer in this team, though it’s recommended to use Mavuika’s ultimate while the former’s ultimate is active for the maximum damage output. In this team, Mavuika can easily deal over a million damage even in a free-to-play setup with low investment weapons.

If you want, you can also run Furina in place of Citlali. With this, you’ll have a Vaporize team, and Furina’s personal damage in combination with her buffs are on par with what Citlali provides. It simply comes down to what you have in your account.

Mavuika Overloaded Teams in Genshin Impact

Chevreuse enables the Overloaded team for Mavuika.
    CharacterRoles
    MavuikaDPS
    OroronEnabler
    ChevreuseBuffer
    BennettHealer

Mavuika is the primary DPS in this team as well, but it’s more reliant on rotations than the previous team. When it comes to Mavuika, you want to build her normally, but make sure her Elemental Mastery is as high as possible.

Ororon is the enabler as he has a really good Electro application, and since he is also from Natlan, he can make the most out of the Nightsoul mechanics in combination with Mavuika. You can use Fischl here as well, but Ororon simply synergizes better.

Chevreuse is a key unit in this team, as she directly buffs the Overloaded reaction by 40 percent, which is quite massive. Finally, Bennett is the primary healer for the team, and similar to the Premium team, you want to use his ultimate in a way where Mavuika can receive the damage boost alongside the heals.

Mavuika Free-to-play Team in Genshin Impact

Kachina is a good unit to pair in in Mavuika's free-to-play team.

    MavuikaDPS
    KachinaEnabler
    KaeyaEnabler
    BennettHealer

This is the best free-to-play team that you can go for Mavuika. In this team, the overall damage and buffs aren’t as high, so Mavuika has to do a lot of heavy lifting. However, her scaling is exceptionally high, which means she can hold her own.

Kachina can deal little damage, but her role here is to help Mavuika develop her Fighting Spirit stacks. Kaeya can also deal little damage, but his role here is to provide the Cryo application, so that Mavuika can trigger melt with her abilities.

Finally, Bennett is the healer in this team, but if you want, you can build him as a hybrid where he will deal damage as well as heal the party. This will help make up for the lack of damage from both Kachina and Kaeya.
