As the game’s release draws near, Kepler Interactive and Sandfall Interactive have released a Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 lore trailer that spells out the dangers ahead.
The Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 lore trailer is narrated by Jennifer English, who is the voice of Maelle in the English language version of the game.
In the trailer, we get some backstory about the threat of the Paintress, a being who inscribes a cursed number on a monolith, which causes death. Each year she does this, an expedition is sent out to stop her. Unfortunately, they tend to fail…hard. Players lead the members of the titular Expedition 33 on their quest to finally destroy the Paintress.
This could well be the last trailer before release, so sit back and enjoy the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 lore trailer, and prepare yourself for the gargantuan task ahead.
