Sovereign Sigils are one of the new items that were introduced alongside the Everdark Sovereign boss fights in Elden Ring Nightreign. They primarily drop upon defeating high difficulty bosses and play a crucial role in buildcrafting.
However, the game doesn’t do a good job of explaining these items and how to use them, which means you’ll lose out on a lot of power. Here’s a detailed guide on Sovereign Sigils and how to use them in the game.
What are Sovereign Sigils in Elden Ring Nightreign?

Sovereign Sigils are primarily a currency in Elden Ring Nightreign. When you defeat the first Everdark Sovereign boss, it unlocks a special merchant called Collector Signboard on the map. You can keep collecting Sigils by completing further Everdark Sovereign Expeditions.
This merchant is found outside the castle in the Roundtable Hold. Leave the castle from the South and then take a right. Go around the castle, and you will find a wooden drum cover attached to a wall. This drum cover is inactive until the first Everdark Sovereign boss has been defeated. After defeating it, you can interact with it, and a brand new shop will open for you.
However, all the items in this shop are only purchasable via Sovereign Sigils.

How to use Sovereign Sigils in Elden Ring Nightreign

After you get access to the Collector Signboard, you can buy all the items in the shop using the Sovereign Sigils. These are some really powerful items, with the very special Grand Luminous Scene, which is the Relic you need for the Evergaol Meta that is currently dominating the game.
You also get access to a variety of Urns for your characters that are essential to switching up your build, since they come with different color coding than your default Urns. Finally, you can also purchase all the costumes using Sovereign Sigils from the Collector Signboard shop.
You can also use the Collector Signboard Shop to change the Shifting Earth event on the map to strategize your runs. Finally, you can also use it to alter the Grand Site of Grace in the Roundtable Hold, to make it brighter.

How to get Witch’s Brooch in Elden Ring Nightreign
The Collector Signboard shop also serves one more purpose, which is to purchase the Witch’s Brooch. You can get it by exchanging the Cracked Witch’s Brooch along with 3 Sovereign Sigils after completing the Guardian’s Remembrance Quest.
The Remembrance Quest is long, and you will have to punish Recluse, which will grant you the Cracked Witch’s Brooch. On the contrary, if you forgive Recluse, you get the Witch’s Brooch, which can be exchanged for 3 Sovereign Sigils, and get the Cracked Witch’s Brooch from the Collector Signboard.
The effects of both the Cracked and Uncracked versions are the same. It’s just up to the player whether they want to punish or forgive Recluse for story reasons. However, at a time you can only hold one of these, and there’s no way to get both in a single account.
