Type-Moon Studio BB and publisher Bandai Namco have announced the delay of the Fate/Extra Record release window. pushing the remake out of 2025.
The delay to Spring of 2026 will be used to give the game further quality improvements before launching it on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Fate/EXTRA Record is a remake of the 2010 turn-based RPG from Type-Moon Studio BB that first released on the PlayStation Portable system. The game is set in the Spiritron virtual world known as S.E.R.A.P.H., which has been built on the moon. 128 of the world’s top hackers, able to transform their souls in the virtual Spiritrons, are selected to be Masters in the Moon Holy Grail War. They search for the Holy Grail, an omnipotent device charged with the power to grant wishes.
Helping them on their way are Servants, the souls of legendary heroes and eminent figures from history, who are given specific class-based skills such as Saber and Archer.
