Colorado-based developer Credenzio Studios aims to leverage its expertise in the historical multiplayer game space to create Lionhearts. In this persistent multiplayer feudal game, players will be deeply immersed in their individual roles during the Crusades.
The developer announced a Kickstarter campaign for the game, which is an expansion of its work on Roblox with Lionhearts: Crusade, a game that has amassed over 6 million plays.
In Lionhearts, players inhabit a living, persistent multiplayer world inspired by the Crusades. Players can rule, trade, and fight to help shape history and the world of Lionhearts. Together, players will form a medieval society with three specialized paths in Military, Religion, and Trade.

Here’s some of Lionhearts’ promised key features.
- Abundant Choices – With 16 factions, 14 guild types offering 60+ career paths, and 4 religions, players can become a knight, blacksmith, bishop, merchant, or even a king.
- Historical Authenticity – Lionhearts aims to authentically represent the 12th-century medieval world. Development decisions will be made within the bounds of historical plausibility and accuracy, backed by scholarly research at every stage.
- Persistent Open World – Lionhearts will contain a single, persistent open world where servers are stitched together into a seamless shared experience.
- No Scripted Events – Players control politics, warfare, trade, and diplomacy, even ruling the Holy Land itself. NPCs will have limited or no presence and are instead replaced by players.
- Real Estate Ownership – Players can rule unique, one-of-a-kind properties in a world where property, such as manors, cities, churches, castles, and more, is finite.
- Persistent World Territory Conquest – Battles have real consequences and actively shape the world.
- Religion – Religion in the world of Lionhearts is vital to the functioning of every kingdom. Religion acts as a class to support societal ties between kingdoms, and it provides a place for education, research and alternative power structures.
- Conquer Jerusalem – Players will navigate the complex path through the Holy Land as their kingdom aspires to reach Jerusalem.
- Kingdoms – With 12 player-run kingdoms and 4 military orders, every position of power, from lord to king, is controlled by real players.
- Ethical Monetization Practices – Monetization will remain ethical, with only fair cosmetic purchases and no pay-to-win or exploitative mechanics.
- Shadow-Tasking System – Players will have the ability to assign tasks to their character’s offline shadow in order to gather resources, craft items, or maintain their fief while away.
- Become the One True King – Are you prepared to test your mettle through the brutal game of politics and war? The most ambitious players will rise to the top to become the sole ruler of a massive kingdom of subjects.
Suppose you’re curious about seeing the game in action now. In that case, you can experience a brand new visual demo of the game, albeit a very early, ‘ultra-lite pre-pre-alpha’ visual walkthrough, putting players into the Lordship of Belmont, and providing a glimpse into what the feudal world of Lionhearts will look like when the game is finished.
And importantly, the Kickstarter campaign began on June 18th, 2025, at 3:00 PM GMT / 10:00 AM EST and will run for 30 days, with an aim to raise at least $200,000 USD in order to support the project’s development.
