Amazon Games and Smilegate have launched the Lost Ark April 2025 update for the MMORPG, bringing fresh events, skins, and a host of tweaks and fixes.
The update contains several new events, all running over different periods, and a new Ark pass titled Frost and Roses.
There’s plenty of Quality of Life changes too. Dowtime began this morning ET and is expected to end around early afternoon. The complete list of updates is available on the Lost Ark website. However, below are some highlights of the Lost Ark April 2025 update.
Lost Ark April 2025 Update Details
Storm the Abyss Event
”A mysterious portal has opened in Shushire’s Bitterwind Hill, and with it, a creeping chill that threatens to consume the land. Brave adventurers can step inside — no prerequisites, no item level required — and face relentless waves of icy foes across three escalating rounds. Activate Bonfire Totems for powerful buffs, collect purification tokens, and keep an eye out for rare Fate Embers packed with valuable items. The lucky (or chosen?) may even ascend to a special stage, transforming into spectral Wolf Spirits to purify the frost faster than ever. The cold is rising. Will you answer the call?”
- Event Period: April 23, 2025 – June 25, 2025
- Introduced new event quest: “Creeping Darkness, Seeping Cold.”
- Requires Item Level 1540+ and completion of South Vern Main Quest to start.
- Players can participate in the event without completing the quest.
- Event Feast available.
- Added new event tokens.
- Added Event Alarm icon next to the minimap.
- Introduced Event Fate Ember in Storm the Abyss rewards.
The update also introduces a new Road to Act 3 Honing Boost event period, which starts today and ends on July 23, 2025.
