Developer Red Nexus Games and publisher Blitworks Games are releasing the pachinko roguelike RPG Peglin on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Series X|S next week.
Following a full launch on PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile in 2024, the roguelike gem completes the set on May 1, 2025, with a digital price of $19.99/£19.99/€19.99.
Peglin first arrived in April of 2022 via Early Access on PC. A mobile release followed in 2023, and a full release was then available on the aforementioned formats and the Switch in August 2024.
Peglin Launches Fresh Console Assault

In Peglin, you play a 2D turn-based RPG by playing the game of pachinko underneath it. As the ball hits certain pegs and orbs on the way down, it deals damage to enemies. Along the way you acquire special relics that alter the game in quite substantial ways. Think of it as a Peggle RPG by way of Slay the Spire.
I’m a sucker for modernisations of coin drop/pachinko/pinball style games. Like many things, it began with Shenmue. In particular Shenmue II’s Lucky Hit game. Peggle 2 may be best remembered for a meme nowadays, but it’s genuinely one of my all-time favorite games. Peglin’s setup has made it one of my favorite chill-out games on the Steam Deck. More recently Ballionaire has scratched that roguelike pachinko itch as well. Either of those are worth checking out, but RPG fans could find themselves hooked by Peglin’s deceptively clever yet straightforward structure. It’s the kind of game you pick up for five minutes and lose an hour or two to.
