The Age of Bhaarat Announcement Trailer
Tara Gaming has been co-founded by Ghost Recon Wildlands developer Noredine Abboud, actor Amitabh Bachchan, and Shiva Trilogy author Amish Tripathi. In a statement regarding the game’s announcement, the developers outline their aims for The Age of Bhaarat, hoping it will be “a landmark project that aims to propel India onto the global gaming map.”
The statement goes on to explain how India’s rich history is an untapped resource for video games.
“While India is home to a treasure trove of legendary lore, its expression in global gaming has remained largely untapped. Tara Gaming Ltd. seeks to change that by merging the country’s creative capital with AAA production capabilities. At its core, the brand’s vision is to empower Indian storytellers and bridge the gap between culturally rooted stories and cutting-edge game development.”
There is no set release date for The Age of Bhaarat, and the consoles on which it will appear have yet to be confirmed. However, you can wishlist it on Steam for now.
