Cartethyia is a powerful 5-star Aero Erosion unit in Wuthering Waves who can deal massive damage to enemies through her powerful ultimate. However, she is also someone who is dependent on stacks to upgrade her ultimate ability, and that is something that can make team formation a little difficult.
Fortunately, you have one free-to-play unit who will be a staple in this team and can easily help with the stacks. The rest of her team formation can change, but it comes down to how optimal you want to be with her.
Cartethyia Premium Aero Erosion Team

This is the best and the most comfortable team for Cartethyia and for good reason. This is because Cartethyia’s primary source of damage comes from her Fleurdelys state, where she absorbs her swords and gains bonus damage through Aero Erosion stacks.
Her second Resonance Liberation, Blade of Howling Squall, deals absurd damage to enemies, and you to maintain 5 stacks of Aero Erosion for maximum benefit. Aero Rover can generate the stacks, but you’ll need Ciaccona to maintain them since the entire rotation up to the second Resonance Liberation is quite long.
As such, Ciaccona maintains the stacks while off-field, and Aero Rover can provide the heals necessary to keep the party alive. This makes it very easy to play Cartethiya, and you won’t have to worry about switching between the forms at all.

This is a decent team to run if you don’t have Ciaccona, but you will struggle a bit with maintaining Aero Erosion stacks. Cartethyia is still the main DPS in this team, but you’ll have to keep switching between the Fleurdelys form and her normal form to generate Aero Erosion.
Aero Rover can do that too, but when Fleurdelys uses her Blade of Howling Squall move, you won’t have 5 Aero Erosion stacks, so you’ll lose out on quite a bit of damage.
However, with Shorekeeper in the team, you’ll receive the raw bonus for Crit Rate and Crit DMG, which will help balance out the damage output a little bit. She also provides consistent healing, though it will be difficult to trigger her intro skill, since Cartethyia will take up a lot of field time.
Cartethyia Free-To-Play Team

This team functions similarly to the all-purpose team, but it’s free-to-play, making it easily accessible to all players. This is because Cartethyia will still struggle to maintain 5 stacks due to the lack of Ciaccona.
However, Sanhua will boost Cartethyia’s Basic ATK DMG, which benefits the character since the damage of Blade of Howling Squall scales off the same. Additionally, Sanhua has very fast rotations and can also deal decent damage.
Aero Rover is the support that can provide Aero Erosion stacks while also healing the party members, which helps Fleurdelys deal damage without any issues. If you want, you can also build Aero Rover for damage, which further helps out in enhancing the overall output of the team.
