How to unlock the Banners Never Fall Event in Wuthering Waves

There are two conditions that you must meet to unlock the Banners Never Fall event in Wuthering Waves. The first condition is that you’ll have to reach Union Level 35, which pretty much means getting access to the endgame.
Secondly, you’ll have to reach the Bell Tower and lower the water in the lower district of Septimont as part of the Flames of Heart main quest. This quest was also released during phase 2 of version 2.4 and focuses mainly on Lupa and her struggle to overcome the Threnodian in Septimont with the help of Cartethyia and Rover.
WuWa: Tips To Complete Banners Never Fall Event

The Banners Never Fall event is divided into five Zones – Zone I to Zone V. Each of these Zones contains Tacet Discords, which you have to defeat to unlock the marked Banners of Conquest in the area.
There will be a few unmarked Banners of Conquest, which you’ll have to gather as collectibles. The key to gathering the marked Banners of Conquest is defeating the Elite enemy in each Zone. However, the Elite Tacet Discord has a very high Glory requirement.
If you try to fight it, without enough Glory and Buffs, you’ll die, and it will simply be a waste of time. Instead, you must focus on leveling your Glory and challenge the difficult enemies step-by-step.
How To Increase Glory
Glory is your power level in this event, and you can increase it by defeating Tacet Discords in each of the Zones. The more enemies you defeat, the higher your Glory reaches. You must challenge enemies that are closer to your Glory level.
This will make the fights a lot easier. However, if you’re one of those players who enjoys a difficult challenge, you can fight the enemies at a lower Glory. However, you must remember that if you die, your Glory gets reduced.
You also receive temporary Glory levels when performing counterattacks or dodge counters during the battles.
How To Gather Buffs

Buffs are equally important in the event, as these enable higher damage and better survivability during the fights. You unlock buffs by increasing your Glory level during the event.
Make sure you unlock the Buffs as much as possible, especially before you start challenging the higher difficulty zones. Here is a list of the buffs you can unlock by leveling up your Glory:
| Buff | Glory Requirement | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Valor | 50 | Recover 10 Concerto Energy when not in battle |
| Wisdom | 100 | Recover 10 Resonance Energy when not in battle |
| Counterattack | 150 | Triggering a Dodge Counters deals Physical Damage equal to 1% of character’s max HP and triggering a Counterattack deals Physical Damage equal to 5% of character’s max HP. |
| Swiftness | 200 | 50% Reduction in Resonance Skill Cooldown |
| Luster | 250 | 50% Reduction in Resonance Liberation Cooldown |
| Momentum | 300 | Recover 25 Concerto Energy when hitting a target with Intro Skill |
| Efficiency | 350 | Gain 50% more Battle Engagement Points |
| Robustness | 400 | STA is fixed at a maximum of 100% |
| Resurgence | 450 | Recover 50 Resonance Energy when activating Resonance Liberation |
| Vibration | 500 | Dodge Counter reduces enemy’s Vibration Strength by 5% and hitting a Counterattack reduces enemy’s Vibration Strength by 12.5% |
| Crushmark | 550 | Deal 100% more damage to Immobilized Targets |
| Rejuvination | 600 | All Resonators have 1000% increased Healing Bonus and their HP is reduced to 1 when receiving a fatal blow |
Trial Level
Apart from the Glory level, you’ll also notice something called a Trial level in the event. The Trial level increases slowly when compared to Glory, but this is permanent, unlike your Glory, which reduces when you die.
The Trial level is also important as it sets the lowest barrier where the Glory level can fall, if it reduces. It’s like a safety net, so that your Glory doesn’t go to zero and you’re forced to start right from the beginning, in case of an unfortunate death.
Keep track of enemy weaknesses
Before you jump into a fight, you’ll notice that the main menu mentions that enemies are strong against specific elements. This could be Electro, Fusion, Aero, or some of the others that exist in the game.
Don’t bring elements that the enemies are immune to, as you’ll deal no damage, and it will make your runs extremely difficult.
