Just a month out from its intended launch, the Lost Soul Aside release date has been delayed until late summer.
The action RPG was originally due to go head-to-head with FromSoftware’s Elden Ring: Nightreign on May 30, 2025.
Lost Soul Aside Release Date Change
Developer Ultizero Games and Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that the Lost Soul Aside release date is now set for August 29, 2025, on PS5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
“We are truly grateful for the positive response we’ve received from players all over the world since we announced Lost Soul Aside,” said Ultizero Games CEO and game director Yang Bing ‘’We remain committed to delivering a high-quality game experience. To match the standards Ultizero Games have set for ourselves, we are going to take some additional time to polish the game. Lost Soul Aside will now release on August 29, 2025. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to our fans waiting for the launch.”

Standing out in the action RPG genre is tough enough, but it did seem unwise to go directly up against the undisputed King of action RPGs in FromSoftware. Hopefully, with some extra time to polish things and launch in a quiet summer period, the future just got a bit brighter for Lost Soul Aside.
