Mistfall Hunter: How To Change Class & Appearance

    Mistfall Hunter Class and Appearance

In Mistfall Hunter, right as you start the game, you’ll be tasked with making some very important decisions. One cosmetic and one gameplay-related.

You’ll be given the chance to create your character, and then you’ll also be given the opportunity to choose your class. An important gameplay decision that will dictate how you behave in battle against monsters and fellow players alike.

However, when you make this decision, the game never signposts how you can reverse this decision and alter your class or appearance. So, to help with that, here is a quick nudge in the right direction.

    How To Change Your Appearance

This one, unlike your class, can be done right from the very moment you arrive at camp. You’ll notice a glowing golden pool in the middle of camp. This is the Gyldenblod Pool, a part of camp that can be upgraded to give you a larger Gyldenblod pouch.

However, it is also where you can trigger the option to change your appearance. Thankfully, this does not cost any of the currencies found in the game and can be done as many times as you like. However, this only concerns your physical appearance, not your attire.

If you want to change your cosmetic items, you will need to access the Wardrobe. Another aspect of your camp is located just behind your Warehouse chest.

    How To Change Your Class

To change your class, you will first need to complete at least one excursion to Hallowgrove, as the option will not be immediately available. However, after your first successful or failed extraction, you can change your class as often as you like; and can be useful when you are facing tough enemies like the Elite Berserker for example.

This is done by speaking to Dew at camp, and she will allow you to swap between the various classes on a whim. These are the following:

    • Mercenary: A classic sword and shield melee striker. Mainly fights head-on, using strong attacks and counterattacking skills to win battles.
    • Blackarrow: The traditional ranged option of the pack. This archer class allows you to strike enemies from afar, mainly relying on status effects and well-timed charged strikes to defeat enemies.
    • Shadowstrix: This is Mistfall’s version of the Rogue class. A class that allows you to utilize stealth, mark enemies for death, and then deal critical damage. However, they are very squishy as a class.
    • Seer: A healer class that really shines when playing in Trios. Allows you to exact crowd control and also heal and buff those around you.
    • Withered Knight: This is the hard-hitting tank of the group. A class that is probably the hardest to master, as you need to contend with lower mobility and more labored attacks. But when those attacks land, they tend to be devastating.
    • Sorcerer: Then lastly, we have the mage class, allowing you to fire off a variety of status-effecting ranged spells, and unlike the Blackarrow, can attack multiple foes at once to serve as crowd control. However, if caught at melee range, this magic user will go down fast.

It is also worth noting that classes scale independently. This means that if you have a full talent tree for one class, that will not automatically be the case for another. So, bear this in mind before changing class, as you’ll need to start over from scratch.
