Mistfall Hunter: Path Of Glory Ranks & Rewards Explained

    Mistfall Hunter Path Of Glory

Mistfall Hunter has all the bells and whistles you would expect to find in a multiplayer PvPvE game. You have a battle pass, and you have a vague imitation of a Gacha system in the form of Star Silver. Plus, you have a ranked leaderboard and ranking system to add a competitive element to the proceedings.

But, like a lot of things in Mistfall Hunter (like the several currencies in the game), this is never particularly well explained and could be outright missed by some players. Effectively forfeiting some great rewards. So, here is a breakdown of how this works, how to enable it, and what rewards you can nab right now.

    What Is Path Of Glory?

    Mistfall Hunter Path Of Glory

Path of Glory is, as mentioned, the competitive aspect of Mistfall Hunter. It allows players to opt in and compete to see who can rise up the ladder, earn points, and become a Zenith-ranked player.

This is accessed via the Season menu and runs on a timer, with the event and potential rewards changing regularly.

How To Activate Path Of Glory Events

You might think that this would be an automatic opt-in for players, because after all, who doesn’t want rewards for their efforts? But you do, in fact, have to throw your hat into the ring.

To do this, go to the Explore menu, and choose either Hollowgrove or Brandrgate. You’ll then see a little box on the right with the seasonal event. At the time of writing, this is Soul Hunt.

You need to tick the checkbox to enable this event, and then every time you commit to a run, this will count toward your rank progress.

How To Rank & Earn Points

So, how does it all work? Well, quite simply, the better you do when you’re out in Hollowgrove or Brandrgate, the quicker you’ll rank up.

You gain points for doing the following while these events are enabled:

Note that these point-earning stipulations are subject to change from one seasonal event to the next

    • Successful Extraction: 5 Points
    • Fight To The Last: 10 Points
    • Defeat Mist Lord (Shared): 30 Points
    • Defeat UnderLord (Shared): 20 Points
    • Elites Defeated (Shared): 10 Points
    • In-Match Quests Completed: 5 Points
    • Gyldhunters Defeated: 80 Points (Shared)
    • First Container Opened: 10 Points
    • Assets Extracted: 10 Points
    • Failed Extraction: 0 Points

Players are capped at 90 points per round, and while I’ll concede that I’m a little unsure, based on what I found from my matches, you can lose points, but only a very small amount for an unsuccessful extraction.

The ranks you can obtain are as follows:

    CategoryRankPoints
    DuskbornI0–499
    DuskbornII500–999
    DuskbornIII1000–1499
