Chrono Odyssey is an MMORPG where your ultimate objective is to enhance your strength and defeat powerful enemies. One of the ways to increase your overall power is by crafting weapons and armor and increasing your equipment level.

The problem is that crafting isn’t as easy as you need to unlock it, and then you’ll have to find the right materials to get the weapons and armor you want. Here’s a guide on how you can start your crafting process as soon as possible.

The first step to unlocking crafting in Chrono Odyssey is crafting the forge in the first major city of the game. You will unlock this place right after you complete the introductory quest. The game will direct you towards the forge, and you now have the means to craft weapons and armor.

You’ll be able to check everything that game has to offer, but you won’t be able to craft anything yet. This is because every piece of equipment requires materials, and the higher you go, the more materials you need. Unfortunately, you cannot buy these materials right away, as you’ll have to do some additional quests for that.

Some of the key crafting materials you need in the game are Lumber, Leather, Linen Cloth, and most importantly Arches.

Lumber, Leather, Linen Cloth, and other crafting materials can be purchased from the Bounty Hunting vendor in the main city. You will find her close to a Bounty Board. This board is marked by a skull icon on the directional bar at the top of your screen.

Once you click on it, you’ll come across a variety of bounties. Pick the first one up and complete it. Upon completing, collect the prize and take it back to the Bounty Hunter. The Bounty Hunter will give you a couple of rewards along with a special Bounty Hunting currency.

You can now use this currency to collect most of the crafting materials you need to get your new piece of gear and armor. However, you still need the Arches to complete the crafting process.

Arches are unlocked by gathering materials from the open world, which includes gathering herbs, chopping trees, or breaking stones. The first step to this process is collecting all the necessary tools you need from the General Store in the main city.

These include the Pickaxe, Sickle, Logging Axe, and Butcher’s Knife. Now you need to start gathering materials from the open world. The higher the region level, the higher the level of the Arches. You’ll start with Basic Arches and then go to Intermediate Arches, Advanced Arches, and so on.

Once you have the basic materials and the Arches, you can craft your preferred gear right away. It’s also important to remember that you should complete the quests from the Blacksmith Louis, as she will give you blueprints for powerful gear that you can craft.

Apart from that, gear has level requirements, which means even if you manage to unlock the highest gear piece, you won’t be able to equip them.

We have also put up details on all the playable classes in Chrono: Odyssey, alongwith the ones available in the closed beta; and the system requirements to run the game.
