Titan Quest II from THQ Nordic has seen regular updates since it first launched in Early Access back in Aug 2025. The plan for 2026 was also laid out in a Roadmap that the developers put out in March this year, and, in line with what was promised, Grimlore Games has come out with the 4th chapter in the game – Wild Lands

Titan Quest II Chapter 4 new biome

Chapter 4 promises to be the biggest chapter with the most diverse biomes that the game has yet seen – ranging from arid deserts, lush forests to the ever popular, and a staple of action RPGs – swamp regions.

Within these regions, there looks to be plenty to keep you occupied – with 18 new dungeons, 5 new Fated Quests, and 13 New World Quests. The Fated Quests take the main story ahead as you continue to try to find and free Chiron, and this chapter looks to focus on the conflicts between the various centaur factions.

The developers also look to prioritize exploration, with rewards for going off the beaten path and discover points of interest, unique events and secrets, which, among other things, includes a hidden, lost city.

Titan Quest II Chapter 4 combat

However, as for most players, all of this will primarily serve as the background to build sharpening and combat, this chapter has two things here to look forward to

    • Enemy variety has been bolstered – like for example the new fire-infused caster centaur – appropriately named the Flame Caller, an Alpha Wolf, new mini-bosses and bosses, and, what the devs call Hero Monsters. There will be 4 to begin with more planned in subsequent updates, and these will appear randomly to challenge you, ranging from a spider with the ability to spit frozen icicles, to a Dung Thrower, and a Boarman.
    • Increasing your max level to 55, unlocking tier 5 passives, new charms and relics; and loot filters to simplify inventory management.

The update also comes with its own tweaks and balance adjustments to gameplay, improvements to UI and certain bug fixes.

We at EpicRPGTales are big fans of the original, and the promise shown by what has come out so far in Early Access for Titan Quest II looks to be taking the sequel in the right direction. We, of course, will be playing Chapter 4, so expect a few guides and ideas for sharpening up your builds over the next few days!
