Fatekeeper is now available in Early Access, but if you have already reached the end of the current build, you might be wondering what comes next, and where the Fatekeeper roadmap is. The first-person fantasy RPG has a strong opening, but its current version is intentionally limited, which has left many players looking for a what to expect from future patches and updates.
Is There an Official Fatekeeper Roadmap?
Following the recent Fatekeeper 0.1.1 patch, it’s now clear that there currently isn’t a Fatekeeper roadmap, but the developers have acknowledged this is something fans of the game are crying out for. I mean, I certainly like to know what to expect and when to expect it when purchasing an early access game.
The closest thing to a roadmap is the game’s Early Access information on Steam, where the developers explain what is available now and how they expect the full version to differ from the current build. That means there is official information about the direction of Fatekeeper, but not a traditional roadmap with dates and update names.

So, if you are looking for a list of future patches, new areas, bosses, weapons, spells, or story chapters, you’re out of luck. But at least the developers have said:
We absolutely intend to share one, but for now we want to keep this initial Early Access period flexible and responsive.
The confirmation of the lack of a Fatekeeper roadmap came alongside a slew of Early Access bug fixes and patches, showing that the developers aren’t messing around when it comes to pushing out quality updates as quickly as possible. You can read the full Fatekeeper 0.1.1 patch notes here.
The current version of Fatekeeper only features a couple of hours of gameplay, however, the developers have said the final version is expected to be around 15 hours long. That suggests the finished game should have a lot more content as it gets closer to full release.
Should You Play Fatekeeper Now or Wait for the Roadmap?
Whether you play Fatekeeper now, or wait for the roadmap to release is entirely dependant on what you want from it. f you are interested in first-person fantasy combat, dark RPG worlds, sword-and-sorcery gameplay and watching a game grow through Early Access, Fatekeeper may be worth playing now.
However, if you want a complete RPG with a full story, long playtime, fleshed-out progression and a clear post-launch update plan, you may want to wait until the developers share a proper roadmap or release more major updates.
For now, players should not expect a detailed list of upcoming patches or dated content drops. Until the developers publish a proper roadmap, the official information only gives us a broad idea of where Fatekeeper is heading, which in itself is quiet exciting.
Is Fatekeeper Coming to Console?
Fatekeeper is currently only available on PC through Steam Early Access, so console players cannot play it yet.
However, console versions do appear to be planned. Several release listings and launch reports point to Fatekeeper coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S after the Early Access period, although there is no confirmed console release date at the moment.
That means Fatekeeper is not a PC-only game forever, but the console versions are likely tied to the game’s wider Early Access development. Since the developers expect Fatekeeper to remain in Early Access for around 18 months, PS5 and Xbox players may have to wait until the game is closer to its full 1.0 release.
For now, there has been no confirmed Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 version. Unless THQ Nordic or Paraglacial announce one later, the only console platforms currently worth mentioning are PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
So, the simple answer is: Fatekeeper is available now on PC, with PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions planned, but there is no confirmed console release date yet.
